Batch add users to a profile from a UNIX group

Custard has the ability to batch map users to profiles from a UNIX group. This is convienient if your existing users are already divided into different groups, e.g. students or admin, as they can be quickly mapped to a profile without having to manually enter each individual username.

If you are setting up a system for the first time, it is recommended to add users to groups in this way.

In the Add users to profile dialog, the lower text entry box has an area to enter a UNIX group name. Enter it here and click Load. The usernames in the specified group will be entered into the main list box. You can now click Add Users as normal.
